'Crackington Haven: Glowing Sky At Penkenna' is an art print limited to 195 and hand-signed and numbered by the artist, Lawrence Dyer.
This painting depicts Penkenna, the cliff on the north side of the cove of Crackington Haven in Cornwall. Sometimes the name of this cliff is spelt 'Pencannow' and it may be that in this difference we have the Cornish and the English versions of the name respectively.
Crackington Haven is a great favourite with me, I go there weekly to draw, paint and photograph. There's a carpark just the other side of the bridge from the shore, and in summer when that one fills up, another further up the steep cliffside road (Penkenna again) run by volunteers and with an honestly box.
Down in the Haven there are the various facilities you need, and a great place to eat is The Cabin Cafe, where I have enjoyed many a tasty lunch served by the always friendly staff.
What a wonderful place Crackington Haven is!
